Ms. Bruneau specializes in complex civil litigation. She has handled matters throughout Louisiana, Texas,
and Mississippi, and managed large, demanding dockets of multi-party cases, involving hundreds of claims and
numerous legal issues. Her cases have included industrial exposures and injuries, asbestos and silica
exposure, environmental contamination, oilfield and maritime injuries, hurricane losses, and commercial
disputes.
Ms. Bruneau has experience in all stages of the legal process, from early case assessment to writs and
appeals, as well as post-conviction relief in the criminal defense area. She has been involved in over 100
judge and jury trials and argued successfully before the Louisiana Supreme Court.
Ms. Bruneau grew up in Leawood, Kansas, but resides in the New Orleans area with her husband, Adrian, and
their two small children, Lily and J.D., as they continue their efforts to rebuild from Hurricane Katrina.
She is certified as a second-degree black belt and instructor trainee in Taekwondo. She also enjoys yoga,
bicycling, making evening gowns and costumes, and classical and country music.
