CSA Timeline

  • 1980: Larry Abbott, of the New Orleans office, founds the firm later known as Abbott Simses, A.P.L.C.
  • 1992: The Fort Worth office of Cotten Schmidt is formed with seven lawyers.
  • 2009: The name changes to Cotten Schmidt & Abbott, L.L.P. and grows to 17 lawyers.
  • Today: Cotten Schmidt & Abbott, L.L.P. is comprised of more than 25 lawyers based in Fort Worth and New Orleans.
