General
Mr. Wallis is an attorney based in Cotten Schmidt & Abbott’s New Orleans, Louisiana, office. His professional experience has been primarily in litigation encompassing matters filed in state and federal courts in Louisiana, Illinois, and Missouri. He has represented defendants in both commercial litigation and claims involving physical injuries, with emphases in pharmaceutical products liability, environmental torts, premises liability, and maritime/admiralty torts. He has also represented plaintiffs in commercial litigation, with an emphasis in class actions pertaining to breaches of fiduciary duties under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”).
In addition to his practice with the firm, Mr. Wallis represents indigent clients in litigation through the New Orleans Pro Bono Project.
